Deagon Skatepark

Like with some other smaller Brisbane parks, the main features at Deagon Skatepark are a street section and a bowl. The street section has a bank and 5 foot quarter pipe end to end, with a funbox and sloped rail between. It’s a fairly smooth ride in the kidney shaped bowl that has two heights about 4 foot and 5 foot in the deeper end. Not much in the way of seats, shaded areas etc. No lights, and no toilet nearby either.

How to get to Deagon Skatepark

Deagon Skatepark is on the corner of Kempster and Board Sts, Sandgate, next to John Stackpoole Oval. It’s about 20 kms north of Brisbane. Public transport options are good with Sandgate Train Station only 600 metres away. Also you can catch the 325 bus that stops nearby. If you want to hit a couple of spots during the day, this skatepark isn’t too far away from Bracken Ridge Skate Plaza. Only about 2.5kms away down on Telegraph rd.
