Welcome to the Australian Skatepark Map. You’ll find profiles for many of our local parks around south east Queensland and northern NSW. We’ve had a roll at most of the parks listed in recent times, so the information is fresh and up to date. So are the photos.
You’ll also notice something a little special about this map. It can tell you how many listings are on screen and display them in one hit for you. Just click the red exclamation point floating on the right of the map, then click for the list. The skate parks will be displayed below the map. If you’d prefer to browse one by one just click the little skater point that’s of interest and details will appear. For further information click on the title and you’ll be taken to the skatepark page. This will tell you all you need to know from whether it has lights to what obstacles you can shred.
You have the option to review each skate park. This helps those that come after you. You can also take in others reviews and see whether a road trip is worth your while.
We’ll be expanding our range as we move forward (if our skating doesn’t get in the way). We have a few days planned skating up at the Sunshine Coast and out at Ipswich. Some of the parks look sic. So we’ll have more parks, photos and updates shortly. If you want to help speed up this process you can help out by adding your local and others you’ve visited.
