Redland Skateparks

Located on the south east of Brisbane, Redland City sits on the bay. It incorporates a number of islands including Stradbroke. There are some good spots to skate in Redland City including the new Mt Cotton Skatepark. Also worth a roll are Capalaba, Thornlands, and Alex if you like bowls. A few skate spots in the area are showing their age though and are of poor design. In saying that, some love nothing more than a session on a mangled old slab of concrete. Only thing missing in Redland Skateparks is a good vert ramp, so you may need to hit the road if you love your big halfpipes. But with Logan, Brisbane and the Gold Coast on its borders, there’s no lack of places for skateboarders to shred in driving distance.
