Eagleby Skatepark

Eagleby is a concrete skatepark surrounded on 3 sides by banks and transitions. Heights range from 3 to 6ft with a combination of banks, hips, extensions and metal coping in most places. A halfpipe section sits around 6ft. The flat land contains a fun box with rail as well as grind boxes.

This park is surrounded by large gum trees so there’s leaf litter everywhere. There is often a broom on site, but you may want to bring your own to be safe.

The skatepark itself is within Albert River Park which has seating, pergolas, basketball court and playground. There are no other facilities however.

Update: The park has had a bit of a makeover since we last visited. It still looks on the rough side but the graffiti has been painted over with pastels.

HOW TO GET TO EAGLEBY SKATEPARK?

It’s just off the highway and straight across the M1 from central Beenleigh. There is limited parking if you turn in from Ramu St, but there’s plenty of street parking. Buses stop nearby and the Beenleigh train station is around a 10 minute skate.
