Fairfield Skatepark

Update: Fairfield Skatepark has undergone a makeover.

Fairfield Skatepark is arguably one of the better parks Brisbane have to offer. Not far south of Brisbane City only a few kms and easy via public transport with Fairfield Train Station only a few hundred metres away. It’s a medium to Large skatepark spanning over 60 metres end to end.

There’s three main sections. A clover shaped bowl about 5 foot tall but there are different depths. The concrete feels pretty smooth and fast. The middle section has end to end banks with a quarter pipe along one side and a funbox positioned in the centre.

The middle street section has banks at either end. Above them are some good ledges for ollies and grinds etc. to finish off the line. The third section is an arrangement of quarter pipes, very wide (more than 24 foot), 5 foot high with a spine in the centre. Basically, they form two half pipes joined end to end. There appears to be some lighting, mainly for the oval next to the park, will update on the lighting with this park very soon.

Where is Fairfield Skatepark?
