Springwood has an old school rounded dish style bowl that’s 2ft high without coping. There are also a few banks, 3ft quarter with coping, wedge and rail, straight rail as well as a ledge. This place is small.
You can get here by bus with it stopping right in front of the park. By car it’s not far off the M1 and there are a few car parks off Shortland St. The park itself has toilets, seats, shade and water. The nearest shop is right next to the park.
