Some of the best facilities around are at your local private skatepark. Whilst many are pay to skate, what’s on offer is usually worth the outlay. And if you’re like me and prefer slamming on wood transitions, then you’re in luck. Plenty of private parks are built at least in part from wood.
In addition to the great elements and often being undercover, private facilities often come with an option for food, drinks, skate gear and more. Then there’s coaching sessions, camps, special events and all round heavy skating.
