Northern Rivers Skateparks

Northern Rivers is a wide region covering the north east tip of New South Wales. It extends from Tweed Heads on the QLD/NSW border and down the coastline through Byron, Ballina and on to Iluka and Yamba. It extends out to the west through Grafton, Lismore, Casino and Nimbin. The Northern Rivers Skateparks offer up some great places to have a roll.

The quality of a number of skateparks in the region exceeds that of the more populated cities to the north. Nimbin Skatepark is a one of a kind and the snake run is epic. Ballina has 3 bowls joined with spines as well as a large bowl. Limore has a beast of a vert ramp as well as an 8ft halfpipe. Goonellabah is a ledge lovers paradise so if you love street this is the place. And many of the northern rivers skateparks have a good mix between transitions and bowls as well as street elements.

If you’ve skated any of these parks be sure to give them a thumbs up or down by rating your ride.

If you’re not from the region a road trip is well worth it.
